Note	In 1920 Census John Thomas Crecelius and his wife Martha, John Baynes Sr., and Mamie all lived in Little Prairie West of Range Line 12-13 in Hayti, MIssouri. They all could read, write and speak English.
Note	On 3/27/1915 John Thomas Crecelius and Martha Baynes were married and this was a second marriage for the both of them.
Note	J.T. Crecelius 83, father of Mrs. J. B. Prewitt ‎(Boyd)‎ who live with west of Hayti on Highway 84, was found dead in his room at the home of his daughter this morning. When Mrs. Prewitt went to awaken him she found his body lying on the floor. Mr. Crecelius died on 2/3/1944. Mr. Crecelius had made his home with his daughter and Mr. Prewitt for several years and this morning Mr. Prewitt stated that he had enjoyed good health recently and had insisted on doing odd jobs about the house. funeral service will be held friday afternoon, feb.4, at 1:30 from the home of Mr. and Mrs Prewitt. Laforge service is in charge.
Note	Birth: Oct. 4, 1860 Meigs County Tennessee, USA Death: Feb. 1, 1944 Caruthersville Pemiscot County Missouri, USA Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon Feburary 4, for the late John T. Crecelius, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.B. Prewitt, near Hayti, with whom he had made his home in recent years. Mr. Crecelius, former resident of Caruthersville, was 83 years old and his death occurred suddenly, Thursday morning. Mrs. Prewitt finding his lifeless body in his room when she went in to awaken him. He had enjoyed fair health lately, being able to be up and around the home most of the time. Death was presumed to be from a heart ailment.
